Chinese Panda

Like the Australian Kangaroos, these coins have as a common element differing depictions of the giant panda, with the coin being redesigned every year from its 1982 introduction forward (other than 2002). The reverse has remained the same each year: It depicts Tien Tien, the Temple of Heaven located in Beijing. Because of their purity and wide range of sizes (one kilo to 1/20 ounce), these coins have achieved prominence among investors and collectors.
